Life Happens
Despite all my intention to go to the gym today and kill it (at least try to kill it with squat), life happened and my son happen to be feeling a bit sick. So I decided to stay home and make sure he sleeps well. Even already at midnight typing this, he’s waken up 3 times feeling uneasy. Have to make up for it tomorrow with more intensity workout. At least I got about 50 push ups done.
Nutrition: I did just a bit better than yesterday. Breakfast was two pieces of toast (finding the right toast itself is a challenge as the “Whole Grain” label means crap anymore. You either have to pay an arm and a leg and buy keyto (which isn’t even that healthy with all the sodium and carp that they throw in there) OR you’re left with a loaf of sugar. My whole grain toast contains 4g of Sugar per toast. I mean WTH!!) with peanut butter, honey and some coffee. Ate some pasta and meatballs at an Italian restaurant for lunch (at best tasteless and at worse, disgusting) with some homemade pasta and ground beef for dinner (best mean of the day). Snack was an apple, some carrots, hummus, a couple of pieces of dark chocolate (85%) and rice crackers with peanut butter (the pure Costco type).
