Progress?

I missed gym for 2 days. Yesterday was Friday and I was very tired and I dont even remember my excuse for Thursday. So needless to say, I wasn’t going to miss today’s workout no matter what (and trust me, my brain tried).

Since tomorrow, Sunday, will be the beginning of my regular weekly cycle, I did arms day today and as always after the workout, you feel particularly good with the blood still pumping and the biceps swelling to larger size. Too bad, it all goes back to normal in a few mins, lol.

Before I forget, I weighed myself this morning and I’ll post the screenshot of the status tomorrow. There is progress but at what cost? haha, I’m getting ahead of myself. Now to the usuals:

Nutrition: Not a particularly good day in that regards. On weekends being more focused and spending more time with the kids, I kinda put nutrition on the back burner. For breakfast, just a couple of toasts with peanut butter and honey, lunch was some costco hotdogs and dinner was (the only nutritious meal) air-fried salmon with mixed vegetables (I added some lemon juice and mayo for additional flavour. It was really good). As for snacks, a protein shake in the morning and a couple of pieces of dark-chocolate (85%). Overall, not too pleased with it. Low on both caloric intake and protein intake.

Workout: started by some hanging leg-raises (wanting to build some abs-muscles, I HATE this workout and am pretty sure looked comical trying to do them), then focused on arms. Rather than saying the individual workouts, here’s a link to what I’ve been incorporating into my weekly workout. Today I did day 2 of the workout. It really felt good: https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/4-week-arm-ageddon-blast-arm-workout

Misc. Note: Been wanting to try 95% or 100% dark chocolate. I dont even know how 100% could exist but I think I saw something on Amazon. If anyone has any comments on these, please share.
